Forza 3

Brilliant racing game/simulator with excellent physics, tracks and a wide range of cars.

Need for Speed Shift

A Christmas present that I really enjoy, not the sim that is forza, but really good fun with a lot more interest.

GTA IV

This game is brilliant but huge, I have put in a lot of hours and some of the achievements would just take too long.

Mass Effect

One full playthrough so far and it is a brilliant game, started on a second play through but haven't got there yet.

Oblivion

I have played about 10 hours so far and the interactivity and huge playing arena make this game stunning.

Tiger Woods 09

When its too wet or you're too tired for real golf this game is perfect. The stick swing really adds to this game and you can really shape shots when you need to.

Call of Duty 3

Very enjoyable game based on WWII warfare as a foot soldier. Good story line, excellent graphics and gameplay, definately recommend this one.

Call of Duty 4

This game rocks and is brilliant in online play too.

Forza 2

This has to be the best car racing game I have ever played. Realistic physics, accurate track models and plenty of cars to test drive.

Halo 3

Just as fun as the older Halo games, very similar but was more enjoyable on the second play through than the first. Turn up the difficulty and prepare to die!

Project Gotham Racing 3

This is a good arcade car racing game. really enjoy the online games such as cat and mouse where you have to prevent the opposition mouse completing the course before your mouse driver (in a slow car).

Project Gotham Racing 4

The sequel to the above game which now features cars, motorbikes and has added weather. Only played a few hours on this one, but it has already thrown some real fun into the mix with a snow lap of the nurburg ring in a 1950s racing car. Well worth a try!

Unreal Tournament

Brilliant game which has amazingly adictive online play and lots of user created content. Looks a little dated now and online player numbers have dwindled but there is still a large following of dedicated gamers and clan warfare still occurs. I actually put this back on my PC this week, still an amazing game in 2010 (graphics not quite up there anymore though!)

Unreal Tournament 2004

After UT99 came UT2k3 and eventually UT2004 which is another brilliant game with tons of online play and user created content. Favourite game type on this version of UT is the Onslaught matches which include an element of strategy through the capture of power nodes and careful use of vehicles.
